Fire and Security Engineer

This is a {Advertised Permanent / Temporary}, {Advertised Full Time / Part Time} vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Undertaking multiple system type servicing, fault diagnosis, repair and commissioning processes on various systems in accordance with the current standards and Codes of Practice.
  • The ability to work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates.
  • Ability to communicate fluently with fellow team members in their region in respects to client urgency escalations in regard to key systems faults.
  • Ability to calmly deal with pressure and hit deadline targets.
  • NSI gold standard experience.
  • Ensure timesheets and all other relevant paperwork is completed on time.
  • Undertake any relevant training as required.
  • Must be able to understand H&S Risk Assessments.
  • Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with and enforced. Ensure the health, safety and welfare of yourself and the team in accordance with Company policy.
  • Completion of the relevant e-documentation, paperwork and where required to be submitted on time.
  • To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of fire and security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
  • As part of the role you will be included in a call rota for security faults and escalations.
  • Product knowledge and working experience relating to – Galaxy Honeywell devices IP CCTV & Analogues CCTV infrastructure (Samsung, Honeywell, Intellex and Axis) Access Control systems and data set wiring (ACT, CEM, Honeywell and Paxton) Fibre and data networks & termination. Fire systems Addressable, Non-addressable & Wireless. (Gent, advanced, Kentec & Honeywell) System cause and effect programming
